Transport Debriefer – Slough

A bit about the role

The main but not exhaustive duties of the De-Briefer role will be to ensure that all drivers receive a full debrief on their return to the depot whilst ensuring the following;

  • Driver Daily Report (DD1) forms are completed accurately; you will be responsible for reviewing the drivers’ credits and examining their DD1 form.
  • You will review driver paperwork to ensure correct completion and any anomalies are challenged i.e. damages, shortages etc. You will be expected to communicate and resolve any concerns, incorrect/ incomplete or lost paperwork with the drivers or escalate to the Supervisor.
  • All hub returns are processed correctly and in a timely manner.
  • You will complete routine vehicle spot checks and any damage should be reported to the Transport Manager.
  • You will ensure any driver accidents are reported by the driver and you will make the relevant Supervisor aware, to ensure the matter is logged and investigated.
  • Compliance to Tachograph legislation and company standards; you will be responsible for downloading the drivers’ Digicard data once a week to ensure the Supervisors can highlight any discrepancies and investigate accordingly.
  • You will also ensure that regular temperature checks have been done throughout the day.
