Manchester depot sits in the Northern region and is one of the largest in the multi-temperature sites within our company.  The transport team form an essential part of the depot in delivering products to our customers in the most efficient and effective way possible in order to deliver service excellence.

 

We are seeking a Transport Debrief Supervisor, you will be responsible for;

 

• Assisting and monitoring the day to day operation of the debrief department;
• The management of the debrief team including appraisals, development and day to day people management;
• Ensure all of your team are trained to the required level in order to deliver for our customers;
• Ensuring we are compliant with all paperwork and processes to keep to audit standards
• Provide ongoing improvements to the department to ensure we deliver service excellence.

 

You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills as the role will involve liaising with customers, colleagues and other departments to resolve any operational issues. A ‘can do’ attitude is a must and the ability to work under pressure. It would be advantageous to be competent in excel and reporting.

 

You will be required to be flexible within your role and may be required to undertake other duties from time to time which could include weekend work.
