Transport admin assistant – Cannock – Birmingham

A bit about the role

In this role you will manage and assist a comprehensive range of administrative activities. It will be your responsibility to provide fast and accurate administrative support helping the depot achieve its profit budget and fulfil responsibilities to customers, suppliers and employees.

Working closely with the customer service and sales teams you will be the first point of contact for all delivery related requests and issues. You will also support the transport management team by providing administrative support to ensure that the whole team achieves and maintains the highest standards of administration and customer service.

You should be happy working in a structured fashion but constantly seek and develop innovative ways to solve problems, support colleagues and generally add value to the organisation’s operation and customer service. We are looking for a candidate who has clear and concise communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the business.

A bit about you

Ideally, you will have experience in a similar working environment however training will be given to the right candidate. Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal. You will also have an accurate and methodical approach to your work with a good attention to detail and being computer literate is a prerequisite. You also need to be a good team player who supports our company values.
