A bit about the role

Your overall objective is to assist the transport management team in the delivery of smooth and efficient running of the operational tasks.

You will achieve this by assisting a small team of drivers (between 18 and 22), you will ensure the delivery of orders within your team adhere to all food safety standards, and to the correct location on time as detailed on delivery notes and route ordering.

You will liaise with our customers to audit that delivery documentation and cash is collected accurately and safely. You will monitor the maintenance of your team’s commercial vehicles and as part of your regular 1-1s with the team ensure they are fully compliant on an ongoing basis.

You will also assist the transport supervisors to ensure the transport operation is legally compliant in relation to tachograph legislation, working time directive, personal and commercial vehicle accident investigations.

This role will be paramount in delivery of our company vision to be the best foodservice provider.
