The Centre for Excellence is a Sales Support Team providing day to day support to the Bidfood team of National Account Managers & their customers. As a key member of the Centre for Excellence team, you will be responsible for supporting a team of National Account Managers and business development controllers and their respective portfolios ensuring internal and external deadlines are met across all areas for the UDM team, and within Bidfood.

You will process requests for information or action within required deadlines. You will ensure that your team work to the Centre for Excellence KPI’s and will be responsible for managing their performance and development. You will have the ability to manage resource and ensure effective support is being provided both day to day and long term. You will be involved in projects as requested by your Line Manager and the Support Team Manager.

You will have a comprehensive knowledge of Bidfood, depot infrastructure and the Centre For Excellence processes and procedures. Intermediate level Microsoft Excel and Word skills, together with a comprehensive knowledge of Access Database / Reflex. The proven ability to generate read and understand monthly and bespoke statistical reports.

You will have excellent communication skills, relationship building skills and good attention to detail is essential.

You will have the ability to effectively lead a team of people following the guidelines as set out by your Line Manager. Maintaining and building strong relationships with stakeholders, whilst meeting the needs of the internal and external customers is key and you will be able to do this effectively.
