At our depot we will make over 1,500 deliveries to our customers each week, we have a number of teams who work together to deliver service excellence to our customers every day. We are seeking Stock Clerk to assist the Stock Control Manager in minimising stock loss and maximising local buying opportunities.

You will understand and solve day to day stock queries and liaise between depots, suppliers and head office. You will need an analytical mind with good attention to detail as you strive to achieve the required outbound order fulfilment target whilst remaining within stock holding targets.

You will need to demonstrate strong communication skills as you will be responsible for liaising with sales to ensure promotional targets are met.

To be successful in this role you will have similar experience of working within a stock control department, particularly within the fast-moving food distribution industry and within a multi-temp environment. You will need a detailed understanding of stock control systems, and strong analytical and problem solving skills. You will need to be a confident IT user, with excellent business administration skills.
You will be someone with good communication and organisation skills with a keen eye for detail.
