We have an exciting opportunity within our Stock Control department, and as a part of the depot leadership team you’ll fill an essential role in helping us achieve our targets by delivering the right products to our customers on time. We’re looking for a department manager, and the successful applicant will be responsible for all local stock control based functions, and will do so heading up a small team of stock controllers.

Your team’s main duties will include maintaining an accurate and extensive inventory data base using IT systems, tracking stock movements, including goods inwards, despatches, returns and rejections and internal transfers, liaising with warehouse staff to maintain accurate stock locations and the production of stock reports as required.

The successful candidate will need to be adept with IT based systems (particularly excel) and be used to working to targets, and will have an accurate and methodical approach to your work.

Ideally, you’ll have experience in stock control, food warehousing and distribution – or both – however the crucial attributes we look for are leadership, diligence and attitude; and as such, candidates with the right raw skill set – but no direct experience may also be considered.
