Worthing Depot is in our Southern region and as a Site Excellence Assistant you will work as part of the Site Excellence team.

You will assist the Site Excellence Manager to implement, administer and enforce all health and safety, food safety and environmental policies, procedures and activities required for the depot to operate in accordance with the laws that govern both depot compliance and quality standards.

You’ll be jointly responsible for maintenance of health and safety, environmental and food safety depot systems as described in the process, standard and ‘how to’ documentation on ‘Process Library’ – our guide to company processes. You will ensure depot facilities are legal and insurance compliant, in co-ordination with the depot management team and our property management services team.

You’ll deliver excellent customer service and operational standards at all times through maintaining a safe and secure environment, ensuring that all regulations are being followed.

You will deputise for the Site Excellence Manager in times of their absence.

Ideally the suitable candidate will have the following qualifications:

• IOSH – Managing Safely v3.1 (or equivalent)
• HACCP qualification
• Internal auditing qualification
