At Bidfood, we recognise that the quality of our Transport teams is instrumental to our success.  Our Night Shunters make sure that the correct vehicles are presented in an efficient manner and return vehicles to their loading station. In addition you’ll ensure that vehicles are plugged in to maintain correct temperatures and will monitor them at regular intervals. You’ll move vehicles with care whilst obeying on site safety measures and report any damaged to vehicles or equipment as and when discovered. You will liaise with warehouse teams to ensure that correct vehicles are presented on the correct bays and return any stock, pallets or cages to correct locations and also assist with the re-building of cages.

To be successful in this role you’ll have a good attention to detail and strong organisational skills. You’ll be able to work well under pressure and be prepared to work in all aspects of weather (uniform will be provided).

You will need a minimum category C driving licence as you may be required to collect or deliver vehicles from service agents or take products to another depot.

Salary £29,000 plus night rate
