A bit about the role

As part of a team of four shunters, you’ll be moving vehicles onto and off the loading bays, preparing them for loading, monitoring temperatures and also assisting with loading. Along with Shunters, you will also be driving our nightly trunk vehicles to collect other goods from our sister depot in Chepstow, using a Class 2 Truck or Class 1 Wagon and Drag.

This role will cover 5 days out of 6, contracted to Sun-Thurs. This means that you will have the opportunity to work some Fridays as overtime, but not all. This is worked on a rota basis with other members of the team.

A bit about you

You’ll possess a Category C+E LGV Licence. You’ll also enjoy a challenge and care about making sure the vehicles are ready for the day shift Drivers to carry out their deliveries.
