We have an opportunity within our highly efficient Transport Department. As part of our team you’ll fill an essential role in helping us achieve our targets by delivering the right products to our customers on time.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and overseeing the day to day operation of the Transport Department, ensuring all process and procedures are followed to the highest standard.

Accountabilities

1. Ensure Cost are kept within the agreed budgets.
2. Ensure compliance of Food Safety, Health and safety regulations, and company procedures at all times.
3. Ensure at all times the fleet is managed against current legislation.
4. To effectively manage all subordinates within the Transport department to ensure they are trained and have the skill set and knowledge required to carry out their jobs.
5. To consistently drive improvement standards within the department to deliver customer satisfaction expectation.
6. Helping the team understand performance targets and goals.
7. Training ensuring that workers are properly trained for their specific roles.
8. Providing real-time feedback on worker performance.
9. Assisting in resolving day to day issues.
10. Identifying and resolving workplace problems, including tardiness or absenteeism.
11. Providing reports and activity updates to management.
