Senior Driver – Stowmarket

You will be responsible for driving and sustain improvement in all areas of Transport, while maintaining the best possible level of service to customers.

Consistently deliver an improve KPL with the use of training and assessments, mentoring the Microlise system.
Monitor driver Tachograph infringements on a weekly basis using our optac system, identify and deliver individual accompaniments, and depot familiarisation.

Investigation of all accidents, conduct accident site visits and produce site specific reports where necessary, assessment and retraining of drivers if necessary.

Accompany drivers on routes and provide information and reports for improvement to both drivers and the Transport department. Provide support to the transport team to achieve targeted cost reductions and department efficiencies.

You’ll have experience of working in a busy Transport Office with excellent communication and organisational skills with a professional manner with the ability to listen and use effective questioning techniques. Competent with IT skills, multitasking and to work under pressure.

You will be flexible covering the late shift working 5 over 7 days a week.
