Senior Customer Marketing Manager – Slough BSC

The Bidfood customer and channel marketing team are responsible for marketing our business to both internal and external customers and supporting our sales teams to make their businesses a success.
The senior customer marketing manager is responsible for the development of channel strategies and for bespoke customer marketing planning within their channel responsibilities and activity to drive growth and build positive relationships with our key National Account customers. Additional responsibilities also include the accountability for ensuring the full channel plans are delivered on time, correct and to agreed budget.
This role will require you to clearly communicate and implement marketing plans/activity across all sales teams, so that they confidently engage and inspire customers.
You will need to closely liaise with group commercial, technical and insight teams and use research and insight to drive your decisions, tap into your creative flair and communication skills whilst thinking on your feet. You will have proven line management and people development skills.

What do you need to be successful at Bidfood?

Have you got experience of putting together marketing plans? Do you have experience of translating those plans into customer activation? You’ll need to develop and implement marketing strategies and plans working to a specific budget that will drive sales across different channels and sectors.
Copywriting is a key element of this role, and the ability to create compelling and concise content is a critical skill, to ensure our message is understood and acted upon. Having an eye for relevant and eye-catching imagery is vital, as is being effective at briefing and managing creative/artwork so that we can sell our food and wider offer in the most inspiring way.
We work in a deadline driven, creative environment, so you’ll need to have strong marketing and problem solving skills along with a great eye for detail. We have to juggle a number of projects at any one time so you will need the ability to multi task and to be flexible in your approach, along with the confidence to do things differently to fit in with changing circumstances.
Just one more thing… a relevant marketing degree or marketing experience is required for this role, and you’ll need to be passionate about food.
