National Account Manager – Royton

The National Accounts department is split into sectors, concentrating on specific market arenas. National Accounts work across all trading divisions within our business including Wholesale, Fine foods, Non Foods, and Catering Equipment.

Reporting to, and supported by the Business Development Controller for Healthcare, the successful applicant will manage a portfolio of cost sector customers.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and attributes:

• Proven account manager with excellent track record of client management, ideally with demonstrable working knowledge of the current Healthcare marketplace
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook
• Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
• Have excellent presentation and communication skills and be able to communicate at all levels, both within the Company and the customer
• Decisive, assertive and persuasive in your communications internally and externally

You will be innovative and demonstrate originality and creativity in solving problems and meeting the needs of the client and the sector. You will have the ability to develop and communicate sound commercial arguments, and have a thorough understanding of the cost drivers and their impact on both the Company and the specific client’s needs.

A full driving licence is a prerequisite as there will be a requirement for travel throughout the country at different times, plus overnight accommodation as and when required.
