LGV Multi-Drop Driver – Warehouse to wheels – Gateshead

As the face of Bidfood to our customers, our drivers deliver food and non-food products within food safety standards to multiple locations which normally vary each day, as detailed on delivery notes and route ordering. You will be required to maintain your vehicle’s cleanliness and complete delivery documentation as required.

We have an opportunity and are now looking to develop a driver apprentice (W2W) within our busy transport department and as part of our team you will be responsible for delivering our customers’ orders in a timely and professional manner. This is an in house and block release programme with a variety of on and off-site training where the Driver Apprentice (W2W) will gain technical know-how. As a Driver Apprentice (W2W) will be expected to interact with peers and colleagues to develop your knowledge and skills in logistics. The Driver Apprentice (W2W) will work towards achieving Level 2 qualifications in Logistic Operations and Driving Goods Vehicle as well as training to become both a licenced and competent professional Cat C HGV driver.

Working 5 out of 7 days.

We’re looking for applicants with experience of working in similar roles where you have also delivered high levels of customer service. Your strong customer facing skills mean that our customer relationships are developed and maximized.

You will need to show us that you have a desire to learn and make your career ambitions for the future a reality.

You will need Clean Driving License.
