This vital role will manage the daily operation and performance of the depot in order to provide the expected service to customers (internal and external), whilst achieving a wide range of KPIs covering costs, productivity, engagement and service standards.

You’ll be capable of leading and engaging Transport and Warehouse teams, inspiring them to reach their full potential while integrating their operations with the sales teams to ensure optimum customer satisfaction, retention and repeat business,.

You’ll uphold good management practices and make sure these are developed in all those around you, including central support functions. This will include all health and safety, audit and legal requirements.

Your success will be measured in commercial terms through profitability, cost control, service delivery and retention, but also in the people and team performance levels and the way they all contribute to the overall operation and success of the depot.

You must have previous experience in depot management in a similar, fast-paced environment, where you have managed and developed teams successfully. You will be an expert influencer and motivator; skilled at harnessing and developing the collective skills in those around you.
