Bidfood is a leading wholesale food distributor and the preferred supplier for over 60,000 customers across the UK. The shared services department within finance encompasses the accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash management teams who are directly responsible for efficient cash flow management. The team is based in our Scarisbrick site.
The Head of Finance – Shared Services is responsible for leading the department in managing and controlling all aspects of working capital.
The key to success in this role is the development of internal relationships and being able to effectively communicate with both Finance and Non-Finance individuals. You will have significant experience of managing AP and AR functions in your previous roles.
You will be a qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA) and you will be able to provide examples of your commitment to Service Excellence.
You will demonstrate a proven track record of process improvement and change management.
