Read MoreThe exciting and challenging opportunity to apply for the position of Field Sales Manager to run one of the most successful and profitable sales teams within Bidvest Foodservice is now available. This position is based at Salisbury Depot, part of the Southern Region.
The successful applicant will be responsible for freetrade sales of circa £16m generated from over 750 trading customers through managing a field sales team of 6 Business Managers.
Using your innovative and commercial skills you will work in conjunction with Depot Management Teams, to execute local strategies and to enhance and stimulate the sales function.
As the leader of a sales team your goal is to meet and exceed targets through the training, motivation, development and control of the Fieldsales team. Your performance will be in line with agreed company KPI’s including sales, margin, items, margin per item and customer retention.
You will have a successful track record of winning new accounts and growing existing business in line with budgeted expectations, alongside experience of managing and motivating sales teams to deliver on targets. You will have knowledge of foodservice market and have excellent communication and presentation skills. You will be analytical with commercial acumen and IT literate.
