This role will be responsible for developing, supporting and delivering the E Commerce EDI technology capability, ensuring it is fully aligned with the IT Strategy and technology roadmap

The role will act as the technical design authority for all E Commerce EDI solutions and technologies, provide direction and guidance on all technical aspects of EDI customer and supplier integrations utilising our MS Biztalk platform.

This role will provide technical expertise to decide on the appropriate technology solutions and will work with our 3rd party E-commerce providers and other suppliers to meet the business and customer need.

This will include liaising with key business stakeholders, customers, 3rd party system integrators and suppliers. Providing technical advice and support, analysing complex requirements to define technical solutions / mapping specifications.

The role will also have responsibility for the Biztalk development team, managing the project pipeline, sprint planning and delivery for all EDI customer integrations in a matrix structure with other project managers and business analysts..

This role will be key to ensuring that Bidfood develops our E-commerce EDI solutions to achieve our targets for electronic trading with our customers and suppliers.

The successful candidate will ideally possess  knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience of managing projects and software development in an agile environment.

The role will also have responsibility for the Biztalk development team, managing the pipeline and sprint planning for all EDI integrations.

The role will be responsible for maintaining operational and support procedures, standards and processes to ensure robust EDI platforms (Biztalk) achieve service levels for availability.

We are looking for candidates with strong E-commerce EDI skills and experience, also a background in Project Management and / or Software Development would be advantageous.

Demonstrate the necessary behavioural traits including solid organisational skills, self-motivated, tenacious, collaborative, goal and team orientated, able to work to strict time-scales, a good communicator with solid problem solving skills and acts with personal integrity and empathy when dealing with others.
