Customer marketing executive – Slough

Bidfood are one of the largest food wholesales in the country delivering fantastic products to a lot of your favourite restaurants, pubs and food locations. The customer & channel marketing team are responsible for marketing our business to both internal and external customers and supporting our sales teams to make their businesses a success.

The customer marketing executive is responsible for supporting our key strategic customers and channels delivering marketing plans, creating specific collateral, and marketing support to drive customer performance. This role will require you to use research and insight to drive your decisions, tap into your creative flair and communication skills whilst thinking on your feet. The marketing & insights team are a foodie, sociable and hardworking group!

Accountabilities

  1. Create and prepare regular marketing updates on categories and specific marketing activity for key customers
  2. Undertake return on investment analysis on all projects to assess the impact each project has on the wider business
  3. Manage daily requests on ad-hoc customer marketing activity including proof reading, supplier adverts, adverts and copy for sponsored events, customer websites and magazines copy
  4. Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and execute key marketing activities/selling tools with targeted Education, Healthcare, Pubs and Travel & Leisure customers. Liaise with customers and attend customer meetings as required, on occasion present to customers, attend and present at NAM team meetings
  5. Lead the scoping, development and delivery of specific projects, brochures and marketing activities as directed by the Marketing Manager
  6. Responsibility for the roll out of all core marketing activity and collateral using the event planner, product guides, Christmas, new product, category development work and sales tools to identified customers
  7. Deliver KPIs and objectives set by the marketing manager to agreed timelines
  8. Ensure that the costs of collateral do not exceed the budget
