Finance Services forms an essential part of Bidfood by providing key financial information and support to both internal and external stakeholders whilst maintaining the responsibility for all aspects of cash management.

Your main responsibilities will include the following:

• Daily reconcile of the company’s bank accounts
• Raise ad hoc cheque payments
• Daily input of the company’s CHAPS payments and transfers
• Set up accounts on BACSactive for any additional payroll payments
• Authorise BACS payments on BACSactive
• Daily download all of the company’s bank statements
• Monthly reconcile the bank accounts to ensure the cash book matches the trial balance
• Daily review of the cash management mailbox
• Additional Ad hoc jobs

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be able to provide examples of a commitment to service excellence
• Have experience of working within a finance environment
• Demonstrate high levels of accuracy through your education and employment achievements
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Have strong IT skills with experience of using Microsoft Excel, Word and Dynamics AX to an intermediate level
