The local sales teams form an essential part the Company and are integral to the success of our business growth. We are currently looking for a Business Manager working out of our Bicester Depot and covering an area based around Oxfordshire.

As part of this team you will be responsible for delivering sustainable sales and profit targets for a geographic region by understanding and influencing what effective food solutions would be for customers.

You will be responsible for developing sales opportunities with existing accounts by analysing territory sales data, minimising order losses and identifying and converting prospect accounts. In addition you will identify and develop profitable business with new Bidvest Foodservice customers in order to increase our market share and size of the market within the region.

You will work with the Bidvest Foodservice Specialists and external partners to ensure that all opportunities to work profitably with our existing and potential customer base are being utilised.  You will communicate across the Specialists and other business areas to ensure there is a co-ordinated Bidvest Foodservice approach and activity with the customer. Through managing the customer relationship, you will ensure all queries and issues are dealt with in order to retain the customer’s long term loyalty.

In addition through your role you are responsible for providing accurate and timely information and feedback to management and other business areas to ensure Bidvest Foodservice can provide a continued level of service to its customers and utilise opportunities for growth.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent selling skills, working in an environment where you have regularly met or exceeded sales targets.  Strong customer skills, a flexible approach to your work and the ability to work to as part of a mobile team are required.  You will have a full driving licence and be willing to travel daily and in excess of 18,000 miles per annum.  Occasional overnight stays away from home will be required.
