Across the South Coast; whether our customers want just a teaspoon or a full range of catering supplies; we’ll supply their needs. We work as a team to provide every food option from quality ingredients to finished meals, including a number of own brand ranges as well as all the big brands and regionally sourced and manufactured products.
In this fast-paced role, no two days are the same. Our ultimate goal is to keep the customer at the heart of everything we do and to do this you need to be good at building strong relationships with customers by really understanding their needs, wants and aspirations and looking for solutions to keep them happy and in a true partnership with Bidfood.
You’ll be responsible for developing sales opportunities with existing accounts by analysing territory sales data, minimising order losses and your role will have a high emphasis on identifying and converting prospect accounts. In addition you’ll identify and develop profitable business with new Bidfood customers in order to increase our market share and size of the market within the region.
You must bring a real passion with excellent selling skills, and a proven ability to regularly exceed sales and cash targets in your career to date. You will need to be a strong communicator at all levels with a flexible approach that demonstrates your ability to develop effective and mutually beneficial relationships and partnerships with clients. This will also show us your ability to work just as easily on your own or as part of a mobile team, freely sharing your skills, knowledge and best practice.
Lastly, you need to be comfortable with driving to meet customers; occasional overnight stays away from home may also be required.
