There’s every chance you’ll have eaten our food, so why not share our success and come and work for us? Caterfood Foodservice is a leading wholesale food distributor in the Southwest for over 2000 customers, ranging from pubs to schools, from restaurants to care homes and everything in between.

Throughout Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset, whether our customers want just a loaf of bread or a full range of catering supplies, we’ll supply their needs, taking their order through our maned telesales department until late and delivering six days a week with no minimum order or delivery charge. We work as a team to provide every food option from quality ingredients to finished meals, including a number of locally sourced ranges as well as all the big brands.

In this fast paced role no two days are the same. Our ultimate goal is to keep the customer at the heart of everything we do and to do this you need to be good at building strong relationships with customers by really understanding their needs and looking for solutions to keep them happy.

You’ll be responsible for developing sales opportunities with existing accounts by analysing territory sales data, minimising order losses and identifying and converting prospect accounts. In addition you’ll identify and develop profitable business with new Caterfood Foodservice customers in order to increase our market share and size of the market within the region.

You must bring a real passion with excellent selling skills, and a proven ability to regularly exceed sales targets in your career to date. You’ll need to be a strong communicator at all levels with a flexible approach that demonstrates your ability to develop relationships with clients of different cultures and with different needs. This will also show us your ability to work just as easily on your own or as part of a mobile team, freely sharing your skills and knowledge.
