Business Manager – Battersea

We are looking for a driven, ambitious and self-motivated sales person with an exceptional track record within the hospitality sector. Possibly with previous foodservice experience and first class negotiation skills.

In this fast paced role no two days are the same. Our ultimate goal is to keep the customer at the heart of everything we do and to do this you need to be good at building strong relationships with customers by really understanding their needs and looking for solutions to keep them happy.

The position will initially focus on new business opportunities within the independent foodservice channel targeting hotels, restaurants, pubs and the hospitality sector.

To be successful you must be able to sell the benefits of our extensive product range of frozen, chilled and ambient products including non-food, fresh meat and WB&S. You should also be comfortable introducing innovative ideas and concepts offering added value to the customer and an ability to talk credibly to Chefs and Catering Managers.

You will responsible for winning new business and must also be capable of building long term business relationships to successfully develop your account base. You must bring a real passion with excellent selling skills, and a proven ability to regularly exceed sales targets in your career to date. You’ll need to be a strong communicator at all levels with a flexible approach that demonstrates your ability to develop relationships with clients of different cultures and with different needs. This will also show us your ability to work just as easily on your own or as part of a mobile team, freely sharing your skills and knowledge.
