Business Development Manager – Bicester

For this role you must:

Deliver sustainable new free trade business growth over a geographic area. Support the development of the new business strategy for the region.

Coach and develop the Business Managers to ensure current and future capabilities.

To understand and influence what effective food solutions would be for customers and then working with the Bidfood team to deliver the proposition.

Identify and develop profitable business with new Bidfood customers in order to increase market share and size of the market within the region.

Maximise account profitability by utilising most recent technology i.e. Cashpoint to develop profitable sales growth in line with or above the sales & profit targets, E commerce and the online platform.

Support the development and implementation of the new business strategy. Coach and develop the Business Managers to ensure current and future capability.

Maintain a live prospect data base of accounts that have the potential to significantly impact new business growth c.£100k+

Ensure all ‘BDM Standards’ are adhered to with evidence to support compliance.

Work with the Bidfood Specialists and external alliance partners to ensure that all opportunities to work profitably with potential customer base are being utilised to meet or exceed pillar profit targets.

Communicate across the Specialists and other business areas (UDM and National) to ensure there is a co-ordinated Bidfood approach and activity with the customer.

Manage the relationship with the customer and ensure all queries and issues are dealt with in order to retain the customer’s long term loyalty.

Competent with technology and be able to provide accurate and timely information and feedback to management and other business areas to ensure Bidfood can provide a continued level of service to its customers and utilise opportunities for growth.
