Brand marketing executive – Slough BSC

What is the purpose and business benefit to the role?

The Bidfood Own Brand team are responsible for ensuring this message applies across the number of Bidfood brands that exist within the portfolio and, as a result, ensuring our own consistent brand growth. Developing and successfully executing strategic brand activity and product development plans are pivotal to ensuring growth targets are exceeded, and the brand marketing executive will support the Brand Managers and Product & Project Manager to create, communicate and deliver these plans successfully.

What are the role accountabilities?

You’ll be responsible for the full marketing mix, which will be key to driving the successful execution of the brand activity plans. From creating informative product adverts and brand collateral, to driving wide-reaching communication, promotional and incentive campaigns, as well as leading the vision for Own Brand at internal sales and customer events. All whilst working cross-functionally with other departments and often juggling many high-profile projects simultaneously. You will also be supporting our exciting new product development pipeline, working closely with our Project & Project Manager on our project management system to drive the ‘quality you can trust’ message at product benchmarking sessions, as well as getting creative by taking responsibility for Own Brand photography requirements.

What personal attributes are needed to be successful in the Own Brand team?

We work in a challenging and deadline driven, creative environment, so you need to be organised in order to work to tight timelines, be a self-motivator, and have the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team. Decisive decision making and an influential confidence is also advantageous, as well as having a considered, analytical approach when utilising available insight in order to put our customers’ requirements at the heart of everything we do. You’ll also play an integral part of a team that is passionate about food and has a real drive to make things happen in order to see our Own Brand ranges succeed.

What behaviour requirements do you need to have?

What qualifications/key experience do I need?

A Business/Marketing degree qualification would be preferable, along with proven experience in a brand marketing role utilising insight in order to create and activate marketing campaigns.
