Brand Development Manager – Slough Business Support Centre

As part of the Bidfood brands team, the Brand Development Manager is responsible for supporting the execution of strategic activities directed at marketing and developing sales growth for the Bidfood business brands Quality Cuisine and Yarde Farm.

The role requires working closely with the Bidfood brands marketing team and the Bidfood sales team to raise the profile of the brands within the business, identify opportunities within our customer base to grow our sales and to support the sales team to successfully achieve the budgeted growth aspiration for these brands.

Working under the direction of the Brand Controller and with the Quality Cuisine and Yarde Farm businesses, you will build marketing plans and sales initiatives and see these implemented to create customer awareness, interest and generate sales leads. Customer events will be important and you will lead the vision of the brands to maximise the opportunity for lead generation. Making use of transactional data and a variety of information resources, you will develop these leads and equip our depot sales teams with the knowledge and information required to successfully develop sales for these brands in their territories.

Based centrally at our Slough Business Support Centre, you will support sales in the form of tele-canvassing, and so strong telephony skills are a prerequisite to success. You will also be working on-site at selected depots, as well as accompanying the sales team to call on customers when required.

This is an empowering and commercial role so a sales and marketing background is ideal. To be successful you must bring a real passion for success and be a strong communicator sharing your skills and knowledge and energising the people around you to achieve great things.

The role will mainly be based in Slough but will also involve travel to our depots and customers across the UK, with occasional overnight stays away from home.
