Read MoreThis is an exciting time to be part of our new Liverpool depot. We are seeking an established and successful Warehouse Shift Manager nights to play a key role in the on-going operation in this new depot.
You will work closely with the Head of Operations to ensure all aspects of warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently; playing your part in the maintenance of the highest standards of customer service.
You will ensure all goods are picked, numbered and stocked correctly in a timely fashion, through effective supervision and development of the Warehouse Operatives and Supervisors.
You will also ensure all company assets and equipment are maintained, utilised and organised to very high levels to ensure maximum levels of productivity and efficiency. It is vital that you back this up with strong attention to detail on all aspects of legislation, health & safety and audit.
You must bring experience in a fast-moving food distribution environment where you have successfully managed stock, systems, processes and people. You’ll be passionate about great organisation and service delivery, with the flexibility and correct attitude to respond quickly to changing priorities.
Instinctively knowing how to get the best out of your team and peers, you will seek out improvements to warehouse best practice whenever possible, and foster a strong teamwork ethic in all those around you.
