As two heads are always better than one, Bidvest Foodservice – along with a number of its key supplier partners – and international gastronomic society, Chaîne des Rôtisseurs have announced a strategic partnership to support the development of young chefs in the UK.
Bidvest Foodservice will be sponsoring the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs International Young Chef Competition 2016 to help nurture the next generation of rising stars.
Held in 35 countries across the globe, the highly acclaimed International Young Chef Competition represents some of the most well-respected and highly regarded eateries in the world. Each country hosts competitions at regional and national level, before competitors move onto the international Grand Final where they pit their skills against global peers.
Bidvest Foodservice Group Sales and Marketing Director, Andy Kemp, says: “At Bidvest Foodservice we’re not only committed to fantastic food, but also to developing skills within the foodservice industry as a whole. Partnering with Chaîne des Rôtisseurs International Young Chef Competition 2016 is the perfect way to demonstrate our pledge. Renowned for developing some of the hospitality industry’s most talented and successful chefs and sommeliers, we’re excited to throw our expertise and knowledge into the cooking pot in partnership with that of our suppliers, to support young people and their training and development in the sector during this exciting anniversary year for the Chaîne.”
This year’s International Final will be held on the 29th September at The Manchester College; the first International Young Chef Final to be held in Britain in the Competition’s 40 year history.
