One lucky Leeds Bar Owner has won a luxury holiday to Mexico with Bidvest Foodservice and Corona.
Owner of the Jones Bar Group, which includes Leeds city centre based Brooklyn Bar, has won a luxury holiday to Mexico in conjunction with Mexican beer brand, Corona, and the country’s leading food provider, Bidvest Foodservice.
To celebrate AB InBev’s recent acquisition of Corona, Bidvest Foodservice worked closely with the Mexican beer brand to launch the competition, designed to reward the customer who sold a years’ worth of Corona in a nine week period – Matt Jones smashed the target by selling an impressive 2,036 bottles.
The prize – a seven night stay at a 5-star all-inclusive resort, with flights included, will serve as a relaxing, family break for Matt, his fiancé and three year old son.
The official prize giving took place on Thursday 11th February at the Brooklyn Bar with General Manager of Bidvest Foodservice Wakefield Depot, Martin Cook, alongside Matt Towe, Marketing Manager at ViVAS (Bidvest Foodservice’s specialist drinks division) presenting the prize.
Matt Jones, owner of the Brooklyn Bar says; “Corona has great appeal to our customers and the competition has been a great success, with us selling a years’ worth of product in just nine weeks.”
Matt continues: “The holiday was a fantastic incentive as it’s a once-in-a-lifetime trip. I’ll be whisking my fiancé and three year old son away with me so we can experience our very own piece of Mexican paradise.”
